The 2009 NI Colposcopy & Gynaecological Oncology Conference was held this year in Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn.

73 delegates participated in the conference which saw contributions from Prof W. Prendiville, Dr John Price, Dr Orla Conlon, Dr R Clarke and to complete the first session Dr M Chambers, Chair of the Northern Ireland PCG presented an audit on “Reasons Why patients don’t attend for cervical smears”.

In the second session Dr Hans Nagar, Dr Pathiraja and Dr Minu Philipose all delivered excellent presentations.

With the results of the feedback for the meeting showing very positive, it can be concluded that the conference aims were achieved.
